Becoming a GOOGLE Ninja- Step One Privacy Master

So we know that you want to become a Tech Ninja (otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this blog), one way to fulfill your ninja destiny is to become a Google Ninja.  Google is a massive corporation that has its hands in a variety of online interests.  I mean anytime when a corporation becomes a verb, it’s big.  So if you can master Google, you are well on your way to becoming a tech ninja or at least impressing your friends.
The first thing you need to understand is Google, like Facebook,  gets a lot of grief about privacy.  Now, privacy on the Internet is important and yes Google and Facebook will use your data in a lot of creepy ways, but I trust my information more with them than smaller, less established websites.   However, this doesn’t mean your don’t have (some) control over the information that is being shared.
So step one in Becoming a GOOGLE Ninja is understanding what Google knows about you.   Go to https://www.google.com/dashboard/  You will need to log in with your Google account.  But then you can check the information that is shared and you can also adjust your privacy settings.   Check back tomorrow for Step Two of Becoming a GOOGLE Ninja.
